Biggest Loser contestants coming to Perry County | Events
Northern Indiana residents Roy and Chris Pickler, who appeared on the most recent season of NBC's The Biggest Loser, are coming to Perry County on a nationwide tour to tell their story and help others make the difficult first steps to a life of health and fitness. The weekend events are in conjunction with the beginning of Everbody’s Fun and Fitness Center’s second session of the Biggest Loser contest.
On this tour, the Picklers have completely different presentations to share with different age groups and audiences. The weekend schedule of events includes the following:
Friday, September 7 - Roy and Chris will speak with students at both Perry Central and Tell City Schools.
Saturday, September 8 – Join Roy and Chris as they kick off Everbody’s Biggest Loser 5K Run/Walk at the gazebo at City Hall in Tell City at 8am. You can register at 7am the day of the event or by picking up an application at Everbody’s or online at http://everbodyfitness.com/resources/links. The community is invited to hear Roy and Chris speak after the event at the gazebo.
Later that morning, Roy and Chris will offer individual consultations at Everbody’s Fun and Fitness Center. The cost will be $25 for a 30 minute consultation. Please contact Everbody’s at 547-3565 to schedule your consultation.
Sunday, September 9 – Roy and Chris will share their spiritual story at the Tell City United Methodist Church, 702 10th Street, at 6pm. The event is free and the public is invited to attend. A free will offering will be taken.
The weekend events are sponsored by Everbody’s Fun and Fitness, Perry Central Community Schools, Tell City Troy Township Schools, Perry County Memorial Hospital, Perry County Wellness and Tell City First United Methodist Church.

“The Biggest Loser” kicks off again in early January 2013 with the return of Jillian Michaels and a mission to tackle the childhood obesity epidemic head on by featuring kid participants (ages 13-17) for the first time ever in addition to adult contestants.
Michaels will join popular returning trainers and top fitness experts Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince. Season 14 will also feature special celebrity guest stars and additional surprises that will be revealed closer to the premiere.
