Tell City man facing charges after stabbing | News

A Tell City man is accused of stabbing a man and leaving the scene on a motorcycle.

It happened Sunday night when officers were called to the area of Rolling Pines Apartments on Orchard Hill Drive just after 7 p.m.

Officers found 31-year-old David Fisher of Tell City with wounds on his neck and face.

Police say Alan Presler, 50, took off on a motorcycle but was stopped at the intersection of Indiana 66 and 237 near the Ohio River Bridge.

He’s in the Perry County Jail facing charges of aggravated battery; criminal recklessness, a Class D felony and a misdemeanor count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Fisher was transported to Owensboro Medical Health System and later flown to a hospital in Louisville.
