Cannelton has been mentioned as a place with some paranormal activity by those who are into such things and now, some curious ghost hunters want to spend time taking readings in the city cemetery.

At the regular common-council meeting last week, cemetery sexton Charlie Davis said paranormal investigators have asked for permission to chceck things out.

The Perry County News reported in 2007 and 2008 that members of the Indiana Ghost Hunters brought electromagnetic-frequency detectors, infrared cameras and other equipment to measure activity at a home on Taylor St.
